During my time at Brandfluence, I worked with gaming influencers to organize livestream charity events. I sourced and vetted hundreds of creators per week to create high-volume personalized outreach. I performed platform demonstrations of our tools, negotiated budgets, and secured agreements. I served as a direct point of contact for questions, concerns, and general information. I maintained positive relationships with influencers from initial outreach through celebrating their successful charity event with them. The talent I worked with has raised over $30,000 for charities like Games For Love, Trans Empowerment Project, and Hope for the Day.
Social Media Manager @ Breakthrough ACTION
At Breakthrough ACTION, in my role as Social Media Coordinator, I created strategic content calendars packed with content from me, my team, and from content across the Breakthrough ACTION group. I created content about public health initiatives, events, and resources.
When I joined the Breakthrough ACTION Communications team, they were struggling to reach their audience of professionals and boost their resources and hard work to the communities on Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook. I reviewed the platform analytics and created a strategy that would serve each unique audience the best and increase engagement.
I found that our LinkedIn audience responds best to one post a day at either the morning or lunch time for peak engagement and responded well to posts about their colleagues achievements and learning & growth opportunities. Twitter responded best to similar timings but enjoyed live-tweets about our events. Facebook preferred early morning and late afternoon engagement and responded best to informative articles and event posts. By tailoring posts to the platforms they fit best, I was able to grow our audience by 200% on Facebook, 100% on Twitter, and 95% on LinkedIn.
Social Media Manager @ Elena's Light
At Elena's Light, in my role as Social Media and Marketing Coordinator, my goal was to create increased awareness of our events and programs. This also included email campaigns and keeping the organization's website up-to-date. I used call-to-actions, trending hashtags, and current events to boost our small nonprofits reach globally as well as locally. Using these strategies I increased Facebook engagement by 100%, Twitter engagement by 5%, Instagram engagement by 9%, and website engagement by 50%.
